Personal Narrative

This project explores visual storytelling through a personal narrative, using a picture-book format to capture three stages of my own life. It reflects on my experience of moving to a new country as a young child, and how the relationships I formed evolved over time.

Through illustration, I focused on expressing emotion, character, and environment in a way that feels clear and accessible, while still holding depth. The work considers a children’s picture book audience, using simple, intentional visuals to communicate change, connection, and growth across each stage of the story.
