Sew Cool Magazine

Sew Cool is a contemporary reimagining of a traditional fibre arts magazine, redesigned for a younger, Gen-Z audience. The goal is to shift perceptions of crafts such as sewing, quilting or crochet from something outdated into something expressive, social, and relevant, encouraging a new generation to engage with making as both a creative outlet and a lifestyle.

The design blends references to the Arts and Crafts movement with a modern, playful sensibility. Handmade aesthetics such as collage-style layouts, layered graphics, and tactile elements reflect the physical processes of sewing, quilting, and crochet. These choices introduce a sense of imperfection and personality that mirrors the handmade nature of the work itself.
